Macintosh Support

Hardware

The Help Desk supports any machine capable of running Mac OS 10.3.9 or greater providing the machine meets the following minimum hardware requirements:

  • G4 with a 466 MHz processor (or greater)
  • DVD-ROM drive
  • Ethernet Port
  • 512 MB RAM

Software

The Help Desk installs, per request, the following software packages on Mac OS X:

  • Microsoft Office 2004
  • FireFox
  • iLIfe 06 (user provides the license)

Operating System

The Help Desk supports the following operating systems

  • Mac OS X 10.3.x or 10.4.x
