Applying to the Ridgeway F. Shinn, Jr. Study Abroad Fund

Our purpose is to support Rhode Island College undergraduates in planned studies outside of the United States. Any undergraduate student in any field is eligable for this funding regardless of what country they want to go to. Applicants must be in good academic standing.

Completed applications are due in the History Office (Gaige 208) by the second Monday in January. It is critical to include a quality proposal and clear budget plan with your application. After applications are received an awards committee of seven people, including oen recently returned awardee, will decide to whom Shinn funds will be awarded.
