A Free Mini-Conference

This conference examines the impact and growing needs of the aging population of individuals with developmental disability. Participants will increase their knowledge of the aging process for individuals diagnosed with cerebral palsy; learn about the basics of Alzheimer's and I/DD, issues of diagnosis and treatment with comorbidity and clinical and policy implications; become familiar with the impact of aging on persons with various intellectual disabilities; become aware of the planning needed by parents of those with developmental disabilities to prepare for a future in which the parents are no longer there.
