Join us to learn more about Rhode Island College!

Explore our suburban campus less than five miles from Downtown Providence and learn about life as a RIC student both inside and outside the classroom!

  • Meet one-on-one with current students, faculty and student success staff.
  • Learn about our outstanding academic programs in arts, sciences, business, education, nursing and social work.
  • Tour our campus: walking tours of our campus quad, fine and performing arts facilities and residence halls, or just relax and take a trolley tour!
  • Find out about the admissions process and financial aid opportunities.

Students may also preregister for one of our optional special programs:

ON-THE-SPOT ADMISSION*

  • On-the-Spot participants must register for Open House by October 18th and must opt in to participate on their registration form.
  • Students must have a completed application on file by October 24th, including a submitted Common Application with essay, $50 application fee, high school/college transcripts, school counselor recommendation, and SAT/ACT scores. These students can pick up their decision letter at the admissions table after the welcome portion of the program..
  • On-the-Spot registrants with applications not completed by October 24th may bring missing material (in a sealed envelope) to Open House and submit to staff at the admissions table. These students may pick up their admission decision at the end of the Open House program.

*Participation in this program does not guarantee acceptance to the college. Rhode Island College Admissions may request additional information for further application review. On-the-Spot Admission excludes second bachelor's degree applicants.

TOUR RHODE ISLAND NURSING EDUCATION CENTER (RINEC)

10:30 am-12:30pm

Join a tour of the state-of-the-art learning and simulation facilities utilized by RIC’s students nurses at the RINEC in Downtown Providence. Students will board a shuttle at RIC to the RINEC, participate in a tour led by RIC Nursing, and return to campus prior to the start of the Open House program.
