SkyDrive & Live Mesh
Your new Live@RIC account includes a SkyDrive which gives you 7 GB of personal storage for files and photos. When compared with your campus H: drive, your new SkyDrive is 85 times larger.
Size is not the only benefit of your new SkyDrive. SkyDrive is convenient since it is located in the Internet "cloud". This means that you can reach your SkyDrive from any place where you have an Internet connection. Although your H: drive remain available to you when you are on campus, you can now save your files to your new SkyDrive for anywhere, anytime access - and you won’t need your USB thumb drive.
SkyDrive also offers seamless integration with Office 2010. All campus computer labs will be upgraded to Office 2010 in July of 2011. As RIC students, you are automatically enrolled in the Microsoft® Campus agreement and may obtain Office 2010 Enterprise from the Campus Store. See www.ric.edu/mssoftware for details.

Live Mesh is a data synchronization system from Microsoft® that allows files, folders, and other data to be shared and synchronized across multiple personal devices.
Please note that Live Mesh is not currently available in our computer labs on campus. For more information on Live Mesh and how to synchronize your SkyDrive with your laptop or home computer, visit http://explore.live.com/windows-live-mesh.
