A note on the passing of Professor Jennifer Cook
Dear Honors Community,
It is with deep sadness that I tell you that Professor Jennifer Cook of the English Department was killed in a car accident last week. Many of you know Jenn as an instructor for Writing 100H and were no doubt inspired by her combination of warmth, caring, and rigor. Her class evaluations were always among the very best in the program and consistently described her as a friend and confidant, as well as a mentor. She is survived by her spouse, Moira Collins, whom many of you also know as a much-respected teacher of Writing 100H. Jenn will be greatly missed.
