HEALTH ALERTS:
Norovirus (“stomach bug”) has been circulating in RI and there have been several cases on campus. This is a highly contagious virus that causes nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. Pertussis (Whooping Cough): Some RI communities are experiencing outbreaks of pertussis. Free clinics are being hosted by the RI Department of Health over the next several weeks for pertussis vaccine; anyone 11 years of age and older may participate.
