For the past several years, on-campus housing is guaranteed for new freshman admitted and enrolled by May 1 and whose housing deposit is paid by May 15.

The financial aid application deadline for freshman entering in the fall is March 1. Approximately 84% of full-time freshman applied for financial aid in the fall 2008 semester, and 69% of those students were awarded need-based financial assistance. The average need-based financial aid package was $8,905, including grants, work-study, and loans. Incoming freshmen who rank in the top 30 percent of their graduating class and who have minimum combined SAT scores of 1100 (critical reading and mathematics) or a minimum ACT Composite score of 24 are eligible for consideration for merit-based Presidential Scholarships. The scholarship award of $2,000 is renewable for four years provided that the student maintains the required grade point average and full-time status. A complete application for admission, including first-quarter senior grades and SAT scores, must be postmarked by December 15 for priority consideration.
